A refreshing start to my day
I’m not a morning person. By any means.
I’ve never been much of a morning person, but now that I am the mother of two little ones (ages 8 months and 3), and get virtually no sleep, mornings are even more difficult.
Sometimes I struggle to get motivated to move in the mornings, and I also have periods of fatigue that come in the afternoon.
So, how do I refuel and stay energized through the day? Well, I make an effort to eat a nutritious, protein-packed breakfast to start with. I like having eggs and whole wheat toast, along with some fresh fruit.
In the afternoon I go outside and take a walk if I can, I find that some exercise during this time of the day can really help me get energized.
Sometimes we all need a little pick-me-up, right? How do you refuel?
