Dear Crissy

Why I love the Boppy Nursing Pillow

Boppy Nursing Pillow

When you become a mother, you’re immediately introduced to a dizzying-flurry of baby products. So many products, in fact, that as the years pass and your baby gets older, your memories of that baby gear may become just a blur in your mind.

That said, as parents, we’ll always remember certain material items, because they were so significant to that time.

For me, I’ll always remember Evan’s blue binky, Kara’s giraffe teether, and those beautiful, soft, and oh-so-helpful Boppy nursing pillows that curl-around and frame my memories of those early months.

It’s funny, because I can’t tell you how many friends told me that I HAD to have a Boppy pillow. I’m not one to ignore the insistent urging of my best girlfriends, so, of course, I bought one during my first pregnancy.

Over the years, I’ve actually bough a few Boppy pillows, and I used them every single day during the first months of both my children’s lives.

The Boppy pillow is so versatile, lifting baby to a more ergonomic position for comfortable feedings, then, transitions to a pillow for propping, tummy time and even learning to sit.

I took my Boppy pillow to the hospital during both of my deliveries, and it was instrumental to my breastfeeding success.

Boppy has been supporting moms for 24 years, and it’s the most awarded nursing pillow on the market, winning not only winning the American Baby Bests Awards for 10 years, but also receiving the most votes of any product or category.

Boppy Nursing Pillow

The Boppy pillow holds such a special place in my heart and memories. I can remember the feeling of the Boppy pillow hugging my waist as I fed my babies, and the sight of it hugging my babies’ waists as they learned to sit up on their own.

In that flurry of baby products, the Boppy stands out, and I’ve definitely joined the chorus of mothers who recommend this product anyone expecting a baby.

I. Love. Boppy.

I’d love to try a boppy because they look very large and comfortable, my nursing pillow wasn’t as “squishy” :)

I love my boppy it was great from birth for breast feeding and then it cushioned my baby when she couldn’t quite sit up on her own.

They’re just so versatile. I know they’re marketed as a nursing pillow, but you can do SO much more with it. To assist babies in tummy time, a safe place for them to snuggle on the floor, to assist with sitting up.

I love boppy! You don’t need to breastfeed to use one either. It is great support for bottle feeding, or allowing other siblings to hold a new baby. It’s great to use for tummy time so baby’s face isn’t smushed on a floor :). There are many uses for a boppy and I look forward to getting on for my new baby!

I love my Boppy. I’ve used one with each of my daughters and it was great for so many things. My hubby loved to use to prop them up while eating from a bottle so they weren’t lying flat
