Bounce Dryer Sheets: Keep Your Home Fresh & Win a Year Supply! *

I recently discovered a love for Bounce Dryer Sheets. Want to know how it happened?

Well, because my kids hang out at my mom and dad’s house so often, they have their own mini wardrobe for times when they sleepover or just get the clothes they came in dirty.

I began noticing that when the kids came home in clothes from my mom’s house, they smelled a lot better than than my own laundry! I asked my mom what she was using to make her laundry smell so fresh, and she told me, “Bounce Dryer Sheets!”

Since then, I’ve been a huge fan of the scent and effectiveness of Bounce Dryer Sheets. Of course, I throw a sheet in dryer with each load of laundry, but I also use Bounce Dryer Sheets to freshen certain areas of my home.

Bounce Dryer Sheets

How I use Bounce Dryer Sheets to keep my home smelling fresh!

1. I put a sheet in my husband’s stinky work shoes to help combat the odor (helps tremendously!)

2. I fold up a Bounce Dryer Sheet and stick it where the filter goes in the top of our cat’s litter box, it helps keep the area smelling fresh.

3. I put a Bounce Dryer Sheet in the bottom of the trash can below the trash bag to help reduce odors. Stinky garbage is my nemesis, so this makes me very happy!

Win a year supply of Bounce!

I use Bounce everywhere inside my home to freshen up as I clean up.
For televisions that create static, I use a dryer sheet to dust the screen and stop the static charge(for a while, at least). The sheets are great at gathering all the dust and anytime you have one out, you know it’s freshening the room.

About once a month, on Fridays, I wash the pillows in our library and stuff them in a big garbage sack with a few dryer sheets and keep them there over the weekend. 37. The cheapest way to freshen your homes is to use tea bags. Tea is cheap, the scent of most tea is mild and pleasant, and you can easily refresh your little tea-bag sachet by tossing it and putting a new one in or with a drop or two of essential oil.

We keep them tucked around the house here and there. I always have several on the rug in the shoe closet. But the main thing we use them for isn’t necessarily for freshness. We put one or two in our pockets or hooked through our pants loops, when we go outside in the evenings to keep the mosquitos away.

With four kids and two cats, the need to keep things fresh is a top priority, but we can’t use lighted candles and such very easily because of the safety risk. I find places in the home that are either in sunlight or are naturally warm, such as near the stove, to place unlit candles that will give off their scent without having to be lit.

I use Bounce when I’m doing the winter/summer clothing change over when packing them away. I stick a sheet in with them and they come out smelling fresh the next season. I also stick one in the bottom of the bathroom waste can to help keep it smelling fresh in there. There are Bounce sheets in each dresser drawer and some in the closets. I also stick a sheet under each couch cushion so when I flip them my couch smells oh so good. Oh yea, I happen to be lucky enough that my throw pillows have zippers, so sheets go in there too.

I use my bounce sheets to stop static on and around my television by wiping it down with a bounce sheet everyday when I clean, I also use bounce sheets in my vents in the winter time so the smell goes through my home, I also use bounce sheets in all of my air conditioner vents in the summer for a nice fresh smell through out my house. Just to give a few more I also put bounce sheets in shoes to stop odor, I pin them on drapes or to blinds for when the windows are open the breeze blows the great smells through out the house. I also put bounce sheets in clothing drawers and tie them in closets, in pillow cases on bed and between the sheets so our bedrooms smell nice all the time as well…

Bounce is the only dryer sheet we use in our home! So many uses, and they smell so fresh, but my favorite way has to be in our coat pockets. All year, but especially in Fall and Winter, I tuck a sheet into everyone’s jacket pocket and my whole family enjoys the scent everywhere they go! Also, it eliminates ‘static’ hair that can be so embarrassing. :)

my last use for bounce dryer sheets is more of a cleaning tip. Save your used sheets and they take crayon off the table, walls, windowss. Sort of like a magic eraser!

Used dryer sheets lightly wet can be used for quick dry food clean up because they are slightly abrasive.

Humm… I make little sachets, with muslin bags and fresh spices (ground and whole)! My favorites are mint, clove and cinnamon – and I’ll throw in a little cayenne pepper as well, to spice it up and because it’s supposed to repel bugs!

I’ve never used Bounce sheets to freshen up the house, but it sounds awesome.

Another thing I do: baking soda! Put it on the bed, sofa, the cozy chair … whatever, let it sit for several minutes, then vacuum it up. Poof, odors are gone. Baking soda’s awesome for freshening up the home a bit. :)

And #3: Cedar blocks! I love the smell of fresh cedar, so I put cedar blocks all around the house in little tucked-away corners, in the closet, in dresser drawers … it’s also meant to repel clothes moths and other nasties, which is a great side-effect for such a nice smell!
Those are my home freshening tips. I’d also note that opening up the windows can do wonders, though it’s less advisable in the summer when it’s SOOOO hot and you don’t want to let the AC out, lol.
