The holidays can be such a beautiful time of year, but you’ll probably agree when I say that they can also be a time of chaos and, unfortunately, even stress.

I tend to work myself into a frenzy during the holidays, but I know that taking a moment to relax, reflect and unwind would be so very beneficial for me in many ways.

Sometimes, I think, we all need a little “nudge” to make time for ourselves. Luckily, Chateau Ste. Michelle has your back this holiday season!

In the spirit of the holiday season, Chateau Ste. Michelle has created a fun and interactive Nudge Calendar (sort of like an Advent Calendar) to help you count-down the days until Christmas, while also reminding you to carve-out a little precious personal time, because you deserve it!

This is really such a fun activity and I particularly loved the “nudge” for December 2nd, which was: “You set out the decorations. The kids get three hours to turn their bedrooms into a winter wonderland.”

Bravo, Chateau Ste. Michelle, that’s a fabulous idea! I think three hours is a little ambitious, but, setting the kids free to decorate their rooms in the evening while I grab an hour of quiet and a glass of wine? Brilliant.

Why didn’t I think of that?

In such a crazy time of the year, it’s never been more important to go to Your Chateau. This holiday season, Chateau Ste. Michelle wants to help you find that time or place where You can become You again. Follow the MY CHATEAU Holiday Calendar: http://www.facebook.com/stemichelle.

I love this idea, and yes seriously why didn’t I think of that. I can just imagine what my 4 year olds wold do with the decorations though. Their rooms might need a little help from dad.
