Favorite Summer Patio Activities #SummerWithSears *

We have spent a lot of time as a family hanging out in our back yard this summer, particularly on our back deck!

While we wish we had a bigger seating area, it’s really a perfect size for me, my husband and our two small children. 

Our favorite activity to do in our back patio area, of course, involves food. Who doesn’t love to hang out with the fam on a warm summer evening and grill some yummy food? We’ve had plenty of burgers, steaks, corn and veggies.

Aside from events involving food, we’ve also been doing something else fun out back this summer. We’ve been playing family board games!

Evan is just getting old enough to be able to enjoy some family games. We also used our table on the back deck to build some amazing Lego castles the other day. It’s just really fun and enjoyable to do almost anything outside during great weather.

As much as I love fall, I’m sad in a way to see summer fading. I hope the fall season is mild so we can continue to enjoy our backyard oasis!
