Fresh Fashion from DownEast Basics: A Review & Giveaway *

My taste in clothing is pretty simple. I like soft, comfortable, natural fabrics–uncomplicated design–and fresh colors. Combine this with a dash of trendiness, and you’ve pretty much gathered a good description of the apparel available at DownEast Basics. For my review, I chose the Fancy Tee. I think that testing a brand’s interpretation of the classic t-shirt is a great way to gauge their overall level of quality and style. The DownEast Basics Fancy Tee is made of 100% cotton, and comes in a variety of soft, pretty colors. I chose the light sea, and just loved the cut and shape of this boyfriend-fit t-shirt. The wide neck is adorned with layers of raw edge silk and self fabric, giving the top a cute and distinctive pop. I found the sizing to be accurate, but be careful, because a trip through the dryer does cause quite a bit of shrinking. Of course, I’m notorious for ruining my clothes in the wash, it’s a bad habit.
