Dear Crissy

Inspired by: Glinda from Disney’s Oz The Great & Powerful

After feeling somewhat swept away with the gorgeous Oscar fashion during the 85th Annual Academy Awards, I decided to put together a little fashion inspiration board, just for fun.

Since I’ve written a few posts recently about Disney’s Oz The Great and Powerful, I thought I would create a board inspired by the beautiful and ethereal Glinda.

Channeling Glinda: Oz The Great and Powerful

Keep reading to see how I channeled Glinda (played by Michelle Williams), translating her magical style into a contemporary, everyday look!

Channeling Glinda

I am so attracted to Glinda’s silver, gold, and nude color palette. The pieces that I chose for this collection represents the beauty, softness, and sparkle of Glinda.

Several of the OPI Oz The Great and Powerful nail polishes would also be incredible with this look!

Some of my favorite pieces on this inspiration board are the Jovonna Women’s Dani Lurex Gold Jumper, the gorgeous Ederra Feather Headband from Free People, and my current obsession, ballet flats—these are By Primigi from Hanna Andersson.

While we may not be able to travel by bubble like Glinda in the film, we can certainly achieve a little iridescent sparkle thanks to these adorable bubble earrings!

Ooh, pretty. I’ve been experimenting with silver and gold lately, myself. Agree that these ballet flats are adorbs. Have you checked out tieks by gavrieli? Kinda pricey, but totally worth it for the travel and cuteness factors.

I know that my daughter is going to be in love with this movie, and with Glinda’s gown. She actually has a vintage Glinda Barbie doll that she loves to play with!

Oh, and agree to previous commenter about the Tieks. So comfy and cute.
