Hello Spring

I felt the benefit of swiss herbs in Ricola® Herb & Throat drops as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. #swissherbs

As I compose this post, I’m enjoying a warm breeze coming in through my office window. I can’t believe that in just a few short days, it will officially be spring!

The fall and winter seasons are so long, grey and cold here in Ohio. It can really get me down sometimes, so I truly welcome evidence of spring. In fact, I have some major plans this spring! Most of those plans include getting outside with the kids to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. We’re going to be visiting the Columbus Zoo on the first warm weekend day, and I also have plans to take the kids on a nature walk at our local park to look for some more signs of spring.

Of course, whenever there is a change in weather, I can expect a few physical ailments to pop up, including a sore throat and cough. It happens with each change in temperature. It’s a minor inconvenience, and I just keep a few Ricola in my handbag in case I need them.

Dual Action Honey-Lemon is my favorite flavor of throat drop from Ricola. Just like the complete Ricola line of products, the Dual Action Honey-Lemon includes that magical (well, I think it’s pretty magical) blend of 10 natural Swiss alpine herbs.

I love natural products, and the menthol combined with that soothing honey-lemon syrup center makes these little drops quite powerful against a sore throat with cough. They really get the job done and get me back to enjoying this gorgeous spring weather.

I also plan to take our dogs on some doggy field trips now that the weather is shaping up! They simply adore going on road trips with the family and having the chance to get out and explore new areas. There are quite a few new things to sniff in the spring, after all.
