Dear Crissy

I finally got my iPhone5

Has anyone else been crazy-excited for the iPhone5? I’m upgrading from the iPhone4, and my new phone finally came on Monday.

I ran out and picked up a pink Otterbox, because my phones need to be able to withstand a drop kicking.

I can tell that the camera is better, and there are some new features, but honestly… it’s not that much different from my iPhone4.

Anyone else feel that way?

I’m not an iPhone fanatic. In fact, I’m a google nut. That being said, I do follow the apple and iPhone news. From my understanding, the biggest difference is a couple faster processing chips so it runs faster for you. And you now have Siri and a bigger screen. IF those are important to you, then it’s a great upgrade.

My step-daughter got her mom’s iPhone 4 when her mom upgraded to a 5. She’s stoked to have a front facing camera so she can take self-portraits and FaceTime with people.

Mine comes next week. I’m also upgrading from the 4.
I’m looking forward to Siri and hoping the sync system in my ford upgrades soon so I can listen to text messages and respond by voice!
And I’m also looking forward to the panoramic camera!

I was really hoping to upgrade my 4s to the 5 but after seeing there really weren’t any camera improvements I’ve decided to hold off until there’s a major improvement.

Nope, not in the least bit. I have never owned a cell phone and probably never will. I don’t want to be on call every second of the day. I have a phone at home with an answering machine, and I get along fine.

I have heard that from a lot of people and I have read that in a lot of reviews as well. I’m not personally an iphone user but I kind of feel like this was all just a big sham. Sorry just my opinion.

Your little model is a sweetie. Good luck with your new phone. I guess they’re a lot of fun.

I just purchased my first DSLR, so I skipped upgrading to the iPhone 5. Between the 4s, the iPad 2 and a DSLR…I didn’t think I really needed one. I’m happy to see that I made the right choice!

I unfortunately do not have an iPhone :( But it does look like it takes great pictures so I really wish I had one!

I just got a new phone and was choosing between the iPhone5 and moving to Android with the Samsung Galaxy SIII. I chose the Samsung and so far am pretty happy. But I know people who love their iPhones REALLY love their iPhones… and it’s always fun to have a new gadget regardless, right? :)
