I Love My Job *

I still get so excited when I am going through my media cards after shooting a portrait session or wedding. Pretty pictures just make me happy. Last Saturday, on the first day of spring, I was fortunate enough to photograph Sarah & Caleb’s beautiful wedding. This is one of the first images I opened, and it just says SPRING to me! So ready for the warm weather to be here for the summer.

    Hey Crissy,

    I have so enjoyed reading your blog thus far. I started following your blog and Twitter and I left yolu a comment on Twittermoms. I am just getting started in the photography field(I’m still using a P&S). I’m starting classes this summer for a degree in photography, advertising and graphic design. I’m looking to buy my first DSLR and I was wondering if you had any suggestions.

    Price isn’t really a factor for me but I definitely don’t want the most high end seeing as this is my first. I know I’m going to get others or upgrade at some point so a good starter-to mid range would be nice. I don’t have a preference on brands, just whatever is the most user friendly for a newbie.
