7,106Everyday Minerals Makeup Review *
Have you ever visited a website that was so aesthetically appealing that you knew immediately their products would be fantastic too? Well, when I first surfed to Everyday Minerals, I was immediately struck by the uniqueness and creativity of the artwork adorning their site and product packaging, and this is one time when you really can judge a book by it’s cover, rather, a brand by it’s branding!
For my review, I received several Everyday Minerals products, including a Matte Base in Beige Neutral, Lucent Powder in Viki’s Radiant Creation, Blush in Weekend Getaway, Kabuki & Blush brushes, and an assortment of lip colors. My items arrived neatly packaged in a gorgeous bow-tied box. Again, notice the fantastic artwork on the packaging!
The first thing that I noticed when applying the base, was that the powder went on easily, and offered nice coverage in just a few brushstrokes. I’ve noticed that it can sometimes take quite a long time, and a lot of brushing, to find such nice even coverage with other loose foundations. The Beige Neutral base is the perfect shade for me, and I was really impressed with the overall look I achieved with this foundation.
Now, onto the good stuff! While the foundation is certainly very nice, I absolutely fell in love with the Lucent Face Powder in Viki’s Radiant Creation, which apparently is a shade created by an Everyday Minerals customer! (Psst… Everyday Minerals… I’d love to help you create a color! How about we work on a Dear Crissy product!? :) Viki’s Radiant Creation is subtle, but provides a beautifully luminous glow with just a hint of added color to the face. The word I would use for this product is pretty. I highly recommend Viki’s Radiant Creation, in fact, I think it should be called Instant Pretty instead! I was likewise enamored with the blush, which I chose in Weekend Getaway. Again, a very flattering and soft shade that really complimented my skin tone.
The Everyday Minerals lipsticks are creamy, moisture rich, and made with organic ingredients. I really like how smooth the lip products go on, and of course, since they are made with wonderful natural ingredients, you won’t taste any chemicals on your lips–always a good thing!

After applying all of the Everyday Minerals products to my face, the result was a bright, fresh, luminous look. I also want to note that the brushes I received are excellent–incredibly soft and luxurious, they are some of the better tools I have used and I highly recommend purchasing them along with your makeup! I think I’d definitely have to go with the lipsticks. I love lipsticks or lip glosses even when I’m not wearing any other makeup. Her Majesty’s Secret Service is a really pretty shade.
