gradually buying school supplies for children
Thankfully, I haven’t had any kids in school yet. However, I used to be a teacher and it was pure chaos that week before going back to school. I would always have to pack my meals the night before so I would be sure to have something to take. I would also make sure my bags were ready to go with all the school materials that I would need for the next day or week. Thanks!

Try and get started early, as soon as the sales start for sure.
We get organized by getting all of our back to school supplies and school stuff together in the dining room then we make piles for both kids.
We also try to do our shopping through-out the summer! That way the week before school isn’t too crazy!
The week before school the kids went to bed earlier in prep for the school year although they didnt like it ,it was still bright outside …that and new school supplies and backpacks ready to go .,,very busy around our house with 6 kids and having to catch the bus to school means early mornings!
Really there is never organization in my house it is a free for all :)
I try to get everything ready the night before while the kids are in bed.. I need to do MORE to organize.
Get started early, leave yourself plenty of time to get things done.
Help from gma
Make sure backpacks and lunches are packed the night before, get to bed early, eat a good breakfast to be ready to go! Thank goodness for uniform so that picking clothes isn’t such a hassle any longer.
Looks like an awesome prize pack from Kraft! Backpack, too?! Awesome!
I prepare everything the day before..setting out everything my sons wearing, i make his lunch day before and weeks before school starts back i set bedtime hour back to 8pm to get them back into routine.
I like to be organized with everything I do so it comes naturally to get everything in order way before school starts. People probably think I’m crazy but I had all my kids stuff purchased and organized in their back packs with names written on them by the 1st week in July. The week before school I just have to make sure the kids are on the right schedule and emotionally accept that my kids are growing up and don’t need me as much as the year before.
I get organized by making sure all the necessary school supplies are all ready to go in my son’s backpack. I also make sure that I have lunch supplies on hand.
Make sure the pantry is stocked for lunches and the laundry is done!
Love Kraft Goodies <3
have all my snacks in one place, shoes by front door along with bookbags
I haven’t had to deal with that yet :) soon enough!

Sure would like to win this.
I lean heavily on my pre-teen daughter to keep me up-to-date on the newest trends and the greatest new products. She does her research and has never steered my wrong … yet. I keep my house meticulously organized year round, so back-to-school is a breeze!
I start the week ahead of school. I get all the supplies labled, and put in the backpacks.
Awesome help for busy mums.
:-) great give away
I don’t have kids.
IT WAS ALWAYS MORE OF AN ORGANIZED CHAOS.
We do mock school days and the kids get to prepare a week’s worth of snacks. We try to get back into the swing of things to ease back into the school routine!
all looks so yummy and good for the kiddies
I get ready for back to school by making sure they get used to getting to bed early, eating healthy meals, and going to the dentist to have their teeth checked.
try to keep order
I am so happy to be past the school age kids. I do donate to schools to help out kids.
come up with lists and start ticking them off one by one
I stay prepared by shopping early.

would love this, would make a wonderfull addition to start year off great.
Even though we don’t start until Sept. 4 I’m going to get planning this weekend. Starting with getting a list of things my daughter wants in her lunches. She’s the pickier of the two, my son will eat just about anything still :) That week before I’ll start baking some dessert/treats and freezing them.
I make sure we have all the necessary school supplies ahead of time, plan out lunches for the week, and have all the clothes washed and pressed.
I get all the lunch stuff organized and ready to pack for each day. I get the backpack ready with everything packed that needs to be. Clothes washed.
I try to get him back into the bed time and wake up routine. I also try to get him back into the reading thing that he hates.
I would just LOVE to be prepared with everything needed for the 1st day back to school. However, I think the school system is freaking retardo! The various teachers never tell you what you need until about a week into the school year, by then there is nothing left but scraps.
With that said, I always end up buying too much, and can never find it the next year.
What a waste really.
I mean, they no longer mail report cards out, you have to go online for everything. So, at least list the necessities online. Sheesh.
Would love to win this! Preparations for school can be a challenge, but knowing what lunches will be makes it easier
would love to win this :)
I am the school bus driver for my kids school so I must be very organized as I have to be at my bus for 7am with three girls! Two are school age, so I have their backpacks ready and lunches in the fridge the night before. Their clothes are picked out as well. Love my job!:)
sort and organize everything couple days ahead.
I start the week before school starts – more regimented bedtimes, clothes pressed and hanging ready to go; folders in book bags and schedules copied. Then reviewing everything for all paperwork to have been turned in and ready to start the year
I dont have kids but when I was in school, I just made sure I had everything set and ready to go for the morning
Now that my daughter is a junior I don’t have to do much. I make her do it by getting all her clothes & cleaning her closets
We get ready by first starting our school schedules back up, bedtime, wakeup and getting ready routines. Then sometime in the couple of weeks before school we go buy clothes and supplies. :0) Just did that part tonight! We start school next Thursday!
entering for the giveaway!
i make sure all the backpacks are in places where my girls can find them. they are 15 and 13 now, so they have to be a little responsible for their organization, too. i do make my 15 yo hang her lanyard, that has her school id and bus pass on it, on a key holder i have near the kitchen. she’s terrible at remembering that, and you gotta have the bus pass to get on the bus and the id to be on school campus! lol i also try to pack any lunches at night, so it’s one last thing that has to be done in the morning. yes, i still make lunches, cos my girls take FOREVER to get ready lol
dear chrissy yhe prize would be so helpful, the childrens father left and took everything so starting over sucks
I always make lunches the night before.
I make sure all school clothes are clean and presentable. I stock up on healthy lunches and snacks, prepack the first day of school back pack, go over the list of necessities from the school and make sure the kids are clean! :) Oh, and a bottle of wine for ME ! :) :) :)
I have a calendar that I make a list of all the items I got my son for school, then I mark them off as I put them in his back pack. I also fill in every day of the week for what I will make for his lunches. He tells me what he wants to wear during the week and I make sure to write that down as well. I schedule everything including sports and activities hes involved in. Best way to make use of every moment of the day.
I buy most of the school supplies the last week in July. They usually have good prices and buying early lessens the stress for me and the girls.
what an awesome give away, got my son going to university so we take many days to organize, put all his important things in boxes to be shopped to him when he arrives.
I’m not a very orginazied person but it’s always helpful to lay out clothes and make lunches the night before.
Oh that is the question I have two teenage daughter’s and I haven’t been able to be organized in along time…. LOL
make lists
I plan and prepare a week at a time and spend the night before getting ready for the day ahead.
back packs get packed up and put on hooks by the door, jacket over the back pack and sneakers below on shelf
always have their backpacks filled & ready to go
Buy all their supplies and place it in their backpacks where they live all year round. Then all I need to do is keep my calendar up-to-date and get the girls moving at the right time of the morning.

Now it is just the checking out the school in a few weeks

the first few weeks is always hard, but everyone gets back into the routine so quickly ; )
I go through school clothes

I start getting into the routine a couple weeks before
I have an extra large planner that I rely on.
we get everything ready the night before so the morning runs smoothly
Pack the backpack and double check the lists.
I keep list on the refrigerator of what I need for lunches, school supplies, etc.
We start by getting the sleep routine turned back around. Each night we start our night routine a little earlier, then in the mornings we get up and moving at the school time.
I write myself notes on one notepad in the kitchen. When I remember something, I write it down so I won’t forget.
First time .. my daughter going to school.. I m searching for all the tips on the net to be prepared. I m excited.
I am a teacher so I make the most of my summer. I make sure to rest and relax before school starts and then I buckle down and organize my classroom by working non-stop. I draw out a map ahead of time to help me get ready.

I make sure everyone gets plenty of sleep! No more staying up late!
I’m a list person so I keep a notepad and small calendar handy to make sure I know what needs to get done and when.
Back to school week is usually crazy-My sister is the one who goes off to school and her and mom write a list before hand of everything she needs, where they need to go, and what they need to do before diving into everything.
