LifeLock offers sex offender registry alerts

Last month, I blogged about how happy I am with the alerts I receive from LifeLock. After recently applying for a credit card, I immediately received a notice in my email. The purpose of the alert was to ensure that it was in fact ME who had applied for the credit card, and not someone who was misusing my information or identity.

I just can’t express how much I value the fact that LifeLock is watching my identity so closely. In fact, LifeLock is looking out for my well-being in so many other ways, too!

As a LifeLock member, you will also have access to sex offender registries in your zip code. Over the past week, I’ve received two alerts notifying me of sex offenders who have registered in my neighborhood, and one of them is actually quite close to where I live.

It’s so good to stay on top of this, and even though my children never leave the home unsupervised, it just gives me peace of mind knowing when a sex offender registers in my area. You just can’t be too careful when it comes to the safety of your family, and LifeLock knows that. It’s just one of the many reasons I have peace of mind thanks to my LifeLock membership!
