Dear Crissy

Medifast weight loss week 5

Can I just say that I am really glad that the holidays (all of them), are OVER?

Medifast Weight Loss Week 5

Last week I had a small gain after falling off the Medifast wagon for Christmas, and I wasn’t totally on track this week either, as I did enjoy some New Year’s Eve food.

Want to see what the damage was?

I gained 0.4 lbs.

Medifast weight loss stats:

Start weight: 180 lbs. on 11/30/2012
Lost week 1: 8.8 lbs.
Lost week 2: 1.8 lbs.
Lost week 3: 3.6 lbs.
Gained week 4: 0.8 lbs.
Gained week 5: 0.4 lbs.
Total lost so far: 13 lbs.

Current weight: 167 lbs.

Ready, set, regroup!

Dude, I have to get back on the ball. Having the holidays out of my face is going to help a lot, and my parents are also on a healthy-eating kick, so it should be easy for me to stay on track with my Lean & Green meals while I’m at their house in the coming weeks.

Medifast Weight Loss Week 5 Thoughts

I’m not really going to dwell on my gains. I’m surprised it wasn’t more, and I knew Christmas and New Year’s Eve would be hard for me to weather. Honestly, I feel gross. I am ready to stop all of this poor eating, and get back into the 5 & 1 routine.

I’m ready to get back on track.

Have you ever lost your way on a diet? Was it difficult for you to get your mind back in the game?

This question sucks to answer! I lost 87 pounds and was still losing and then my mom died and I had problems with my family soooooo I have gained it all back! I have tried and tried to get back on track and it’s just not happening! I got rid of all my “fat” clothes to make room for smaller much cuter clothes so now I have nothing to wear. I wanted to try medifast but we live paycheck to paycheck and there is no way we can afford it! I’m glad to see you doing so well and don’t give up no matter what because it’s so hard to start from the beginning again!

Yes often I’ve lost my way. I was actually very happy to find that I was able to get back to the MediFast plan 1/2 when I returned to work. It was a little easier having that structure already in place and only bringing the foods I can eat. It is easier then being at home with the temptation.

If it makes you feel any better I went off from 12/24-1/1 totally out the window ate what I wanted, but I didn’t feel guilty I just got back on 1/2. I also DID NOT weigh myself the Saturday that I usually weigh that week for “emotional” reasons.

You just have to realize it is life, and enjoying yourself a week or two is no big deal don’t feel guilty and just jump right back on.

This is my first week with Medifast, and so far I have lost 9lbs!!!
My starting weight was 185lbs and now I am 176lbs….the food is awful but at the end I now that it will be worth it
