What Motivates You To Stay Healthy? *
I did manage to lose a fair amount of weight after the birth of my son in 2009, however, I always knew in the back of my mind that I would be having one more baby, and I think this held me back from really getting fit. It may seem like skewed thinking, but, knowing that I would be putting my body through another pregnancy just gave me the excuse to hold back.
I have no more excuses. I want to be fit not only for myself, but to set a good example for my children.
I’m excited to be embarking on the MapMyFitness Quaker Challenge, and have committed to doing 15 workouts in 30 days. Pretty reasonable, huh?
I’ll probably be walking to fulfill my goals, however, I plan to find some other creative ways to slide workouts in to my busy life. It can be tough to make time to workout when you have kids, but it is definitely doable, and worth it.
I am looking forward to not only a healthy body, but the benefits that exercise can bring to my mental and emotional health too. I know I’m going to feel better!
