My Little Boy Took His First Steps *

I am a little late, but just wanted to get this in writing (someplace besides the baby book) that Evan took his first steps last night, on August 11th, 2010. That’s right, my  little boy is walking, and I could not be more proud! He actually took more than just a couple steps, and walked half way across our living room several times. It seems like when he decides to do something, he does it well! We tried to get a picture, but by the time I got around to it, he was too tired to perform. Soon, though!

    That's so huge! Congratulations!!! My baby girl just started "commando" crawling this week. I can't imagine walking. They grow too fast!!!!!!!!!!

    Congrats! We're still cruising furniture over here, but I have a feeling it won't be for long because she is in a hurry to get into as much as she possible can. Haha. Yay for Evan!

    That is so exciting. It's amazing how they all walk at different times. When you have the next one, he or she may walk earlier or much later. My oldest was a late walker but my baby now is 10 months and took her first steps at 8 months! She amazes everyone when they see her toddling around shaking her little booty. :)

      Thanks Laura! Yes, my mom said that I walked at 9 months and was potty trained by 16! :)

    Congratulations to your adorable boy! My Little Miss is still cruising but already attempting to at least stand up on her own. It's funny and amazing how persistent she is, that though she falls down every time she stands right back up. :) Exciting times ahead of you!
