New year, new blog design

DearCrissy.com Blog Design

I am probably the most impatient person in the world, so waiting for the new Dear Crissy blog design to finally launch was not easy. I’ve been so anxious to share the new look with all of you, and today’s the day!

I have Lindsay Landis from Purr Design to thank for conceptualizing, designing and developing the new Dear Crissy. Lindsay’s talent, creativity and professionalism are what keep me coming back year after year for gorgeous, fresh designs. I’m hooked. It’s a problem.

I’m happy to be back to a magazine style layout—I feel like this offers our readers much easier access to their topics of preference on the homepage. Also, be sure to keep an eye on the what’s trending posts at the top of the blog and check out my latest crush in the sidebar if you’re interested in the products that I’m obsessing over.

Speaking of products and obsessed, I’ll be creating topical/seasonal gift guides in our new SHOP section (you’ll find a link in the main menu at the top of the page.) In face, you can shop my current everyday beauty faves right now!

We also have lots of inspiring and useful new content lined up, and I’m pleased to announce a new DIY/beauty + food contributor—Kacey. Kacey is a photographer and photo stylist living tucked between the beautiful Maine coastline and lakes region with her husband, strong-willed 2-year-old son and a sweetpea on the way. Kacey values nature’s bounty and strives to incorporate organic, home-grown foods and natural products in her family’s everyday life.

Check out Kacey’s simple diy acne mask and skin-brightening satsuma and honey sugar scrub!

I want to say thank you, again, to everyone who takes the time to visit my blog—hope you all love the new look as much as we do! :)
