Otterbox Reflex Series iPad Case review
I have to admit, I’m a bit of a device junkie.
Combine 3 e-readers, two iPads, and two iPhones with two children ages 3 and 1, and you have a recipe for, sadly, some destroyed gadgets.
I really don’t mess around when it comes to protection for our devices, and if Otterbox made a cover for my entire computer, I probably wouldn’t have lost my Macbook Air to a can of Diet Coke last month. Otterbox, seriously… just start making whole computer covers, please?
Until that day comes, I’m happy to have great protective Otterboxes for our family’s other devices. I had the opportunity to check out this Otterbox Reflex Series iPad Case recently, and found it to be a nice (slimmer) alternative to the Defender Series cases.
I chose the Otterbox Reflex Series iPad Case in purple, or “Zinger” according to the websites.
As I said, this Otterbox is a little slimmer and less bulky than the Defender Series case I have on my son’s iPad, but it still offers the same type of fantastic protection that I’ve come to expect from Otterbox products.
Otterbox Reflex Series iPad Case
The following is from the Otterbox Website, and helps articulate what makes this case special.
Our engineers and industrial designers carefully considered every aspect of the new iPad 3 to create a simple, yet protective case. Inspired by the crumple zone of a car, the Reflex Series new iPad 3 case features a unique dual material combination of polycarbonate and silicone. Cushions of air in the corners allow the case to flex and absorb any impact force. This new iPad 3 case not only takes a hit, it recoils and springs back, ready to protect again. If you’re looking for strong yet sleek protection, look no further than the Reflex Series case for the new iPad 3.
I love how this Otterbox props up to allow me to easily work with my favorite apps, and I also love how the slimmer design feels in my hands.
I’ve purchased a variety of cases for our iPads, but when it comes down to it, I’m completely sold on the level of protection that Otterbox cases offer. I won’t put my iPads or iPhones in any other kind of case!
