Paying bills by mail
The safest way to pay your bills is to drop them off at a post office box. This way it is harder for identity thieves to intercept your bills and steal your information.

Paying bills over the phone
If you’re not out of earshot, an identity thief can easily write down the account information you’re dictating to your account representative. This could even be friends
or family members, which is called family friendly fraud.

Using public wi-fi
Using public Wi-Fi leaves you vulnerable and wide open to identity thieves who use free Wi-Fi to capture sensitive data and hack into mobile devices.
