I get beach-ready… by not going to the beach lol
I make sure to have sun screen, good books, beach towel, and plenty of gas in the car to get there
Get out my shorts, tanks, flip flops, and most important sunscreen!

we usually take a roadtrip down to southern california. we make sure all our tires are inflated properly, get the van cleaned out, everything organized and packed. we also make sure to carry LOTS of sunscreen. when we are in so cal, we always go to beach. for us, there is no ‘real’ way to get ready for that other than bringing enough towels, a blanket, sunscreen, and boogie boards (that we bought on our last trip down). the kids loved the boards!

Beach ready? Here in Oklahoma getting beach ready means filling up the above ground pool from Walmart and staying inside while my kids go outside.

My family and I have had a really difficult year and we wouldn’t still be together had it not been for our very good friend and godfather of our almost one year old. He has been our rock. He’s helped us financially, offered his moral support and helped us get through the most difficult year of our lives. Car accidents, stolen cars, lost jobs and broken hearts all in one year. And that isn’t the half of it. If I won this gift card I could in part return the favor for all the help and support he’s given us. He is a very good friend and my daughter adores him. He deserves more than this but in time I will pay my debt of gratitude one way or another.
Husband has to have back surgery, doctors relented and scheduled it for early January, so we’ll at least have Christmas- we live on Social Security and we barely make it through the month.
