Shop Your Pins with Kroger’s Board to Table App
This post is sponsored by Kroger. Opinions are my own.
How many times have you been standing in the grocery store frantically trying to scroll through Pinterest on your phone to find the ingredients for a recipe you pinned earlier that day?
I am SO guilty of this and have often wondered why there isn’t an easy way to create shopping lists right from Pinterest. Luckily, Kroger has met this need with a really slick new app called Board to Table!
Board to Table is a new iOS app from Kroger that makes it easier to grocery shop for the ingredients you need to make your favorite Pinterest recipes. With one swipe, move all or some of the ingredients from your favorite recipe Pins to your Kroger shopping list. If you’re like me and you’re obsessed with using Pinterest for recipe curation, this app is going to be a major game changer. With just a few taps you’ll have a fully populated shopping list that will allow you to easily locate and purchase the exact list of ingredients you need for your recipe!
I gave Board to Table a whirl this morning while I was shopping for ingredients to make my yummy Crock Pot cheesy potato soup. If you think I keep all of those ingredient lists in my head you’re so wrong. I completely rely on creating shopping lists to make sure that I don’t miss any of the ingredients that I need while shopping.
The app requires the use of “rich pins,” which means that the ingredients list and directions appear under the pin. The good news is, this isn’t something that you really need to focus on. Most recipes on Pinterest (including all of my recipes) will appear as rich pins.
Speaking of MY RECIPES, you’re definitely going to want to check out my Crock Pot cheesy potato soup recipe. After you pin it to your favorite board on Pinterest, be sure to get the Board to Table app and create your shopping list. The next thing you know, you’ll have a delicious bowl of soup on your dinner table. Don’t forget the bacon, it makes a great topping!
I’m really loving this innovative app and I’m loving even more that it was developed by my favorite hometown grocery store—Kroger! Having grown up in a small town where Kroger was the spot to grocery shop, it’s nice to see them continuing to create new ways to make the shopping experience even better for their customers.
Do note that Board to Table is a new app in customer trial mode. Only a limited number of customers will be able to download it, so act now! If you have a lot of Pinterest pins, it might take a few minutes for all of them to load.
Have you tried this app? Let me know what you think in the comments below!
