I’ve always been a dairy milk-drinker. I was raised a milk-drinker, and come from a long line of milk-drinkers. Milk is great, but somewhere along the line in my adulthood I started noticing that milk makes me feel a little… off.
That said, about two years ago I decided to pick up a carton of Silk Pure Almond almondmilk in the grocery store. It was really a purchase that I made on a whim, but one taste of almondmilk and I was pretty much hooked.
It is smooth, has a touch of sweetness (I like the vanilla), and best of all it doesn’t leave me with that milk-bellyache I seem to get with regular dairy milk.
I now use Silk Pure Almond vanilla almondmilk almost every day in my coffee and as part of my breakfast routine. I love it in cereal, and I also love adding it in place of dairy milk to my toddler’s cereal on occasion.
