Dear Crissy

Slim-Fast update

It’s time for an update on my weight loss journey with Slim-Fast, and I’m happy to report that I have lost 5 lbs. so far!

It’s really amazing how much of a difference a 5 lb. loss can make. I’ve noticed that my jeans aren’t as close to cutting off my circulation (haha), and the best part about dropping 5 lbs. is that it really motivates you go move forward — or at least it motivates me.

Keep reading to find out how you can win one of three fabulous beach-themed prize packs from Slim-Fast!

I really thought that I would be more interested in the meal and snack bars from Slim-Fast, but I’m actually finding that the shakes are my favorite part of the plan.

Losing weight doesn’t have to mean sacrificing taste. Slim-Fast shakes are absolutely delicious and leave you satisfied, with up to four hours of hunger control. Not to mention, each shake contains 10 grams of protein, 5 grams of fiber and 24 essential vitamins and minerals.

Slim-Fast’s richest, creamiest, best-tasting shakes ever come in a convenient, re-closable bottle and are available in the following flavors:

  • Creamy Milk Chocolate
  • French Vanilla
  • Rich Chocolate Royale
  • Cappuccino Delight
  • Strawberries N’ Cream

Also, don’t forget breastfeeding burns on average 200-500 calories per day, so even without a weight loss program you are burning extra calories. A woman who is breastfeeding should consume at least 1,800 calories a day and achieve a gradual weight loss of 1 to 1 1/2 pounds per week.

I’m actually pregnant, so not much I can do to get beach ready other than to have a maternity suite that covers me up as much as possible!!

To get beach ready, I increase my physical activity and eliminate carbonated beverages and desserts.
