Taking Your Look From Day to Night *

There was a time when I loved to shop, and loved to accumulate lots and lots of clothing options.

Now, however, I’m always looking for pieces that can pull double duty. I don’t have the time or the budget to buy a piece for every occasion, so I love the Merona Collection at Target because each piece can be mixed and matched within the collection to create the perfect look — day or night.

Take the Merona Pullover Sweater for example. For daytime, you could pair it with brightly colored washed chino pants. Mix with a scarf to complete the look. To take this modern classic it up a notch, wear it with a slimming black pencil skirt and a modern buckle ankle bootie. Add some bold jewelry to dress it up even more.

The Merona Tailored Blazer also transitions well from day to night. Pair it with a patterned pencil skirt for the office, and the Merona Tailored Ankle pants and pumps for a sophisticated evening style.

How do you take your look from day to night?

I too prefer separates so that I can mix and match different articles of clothing. This Merona collection look good for this.

Love it! I like to wear things that I can easily put a sweater/shrug over to dress it up a little. Also tops that go great with jeans for the day, and then swap the jeans out for a skirt and heels. A little jewelry or other accessories can add a lot as well!
