Evan is at that stage now where everything he sees automatically goes to his mouth. This being the case, I’ve been forced to retire all of my jewelry, except for my wedding ring. This has been a bummer for me, since I do enjoy wearing necklaces, but one strong yank from my little Bam-Bam and I can kiss my jewelry goodbye! I have found, however, that when I’m wearing a necklace I can hold Evan’s attention for quite a while, which can be invaluable! So, having something dangling around my neck really does come in handy in certain situations.
I actually stumbled upon the perfect solution for both me, and Evan, in the amazing Teething Bling line of jewelry from Smart Mom!
I’ve been longing for some Teething Bling since Evan was just a few months old, after seeing photographs of some celebrities wearing the pendants online. I was lucky enough to receive a pendant and a gift set to review. I’m not sure why, but when I saw the jewelry online, it didn’t click in my mind that it would be so soft and pliable. If you never touched these pieces, you would think that they were made of hard plastic or stone. At a glance, they just look like stylish pendants and bangles, but in reality they are quite soft and no doubt feel great on baby’s gums!

Evan had a check-up this week with his pediatrician, and thanks to my Teething Bling, he was occupied on my lap in the waiting room until we were called back. While he really likes the bracelets as well, I prefer the pendant, because it isn’t being thrown to the floor a million times each use!
Teethin Bling is both incredibly cute and stylish, as well as just a smart idea. I have been wearing my Teething Bling pendant daily since I received it. I received the Jade-colored donut shaped pendant, and it really seems to look good with quite a bit of my wardrobe — truly love this product!
