The Huggies Slip-Ons experience

I wouldn’t normally post such a blurry, random photo of Kara on my blog, but, this photo really sums up the phase she’s in. She is on the move, and she won’t be slowed down by anyone or for anything—not even a diaper change!

Nothing has ever really been easy when it comes to Kara, and right now, diaper-changes are no exception. Kara absolutely hates to lie down for a change, and I end up wrestling with her. Tears ensue, and it’s really just not a great experience.

I was skeptical about using a slip-on style diaper with Kara—she’s just so small—but I knew that nothing could be worse than the diaper experience we’ve been going through with every change for the past few weeks. I was willing to try anything.

Instead of forcing Kara into the dreaded lie-down position for her diaper change, I allowed her to remain standing, and tried our first fit with the Huggies Slip-On diaper! After a quick wipe, I was surprised how easy it was to maneuver her into the Huggies Slip-On.

The best part? No screaming, squirming, or tears. She didn’t put up much of a fuss, and the Slip-On went up without any resistance. She seemed to be much more comfortable with this experience, and we ended up spending much less time on the diaper-change, which was a win for both of us!

The Huggies Slip-Ons seem to fit Kara’s shape really well, and I’m happy with the performance against leaks. I’ve even let her sleep in these diapers and she wakes up dry!

If you have a squirmy baby, or a baby who seems fed up with the lie-down diaper experience, I definitely recommend this diaper!
