Photo storage is important to me because of two main things: first, because of security issues, and second because of the way technology keeps changing. I want to be sure that I have my photos stored somewhere that no one else can see them (there are some wonky people out there, after all) but that I can get to on any of my devices as I need/want them.

Safe photo storage is very important to my family and I. My grandmother is 82 this year and inherited the family photos from my great grandparents. We have photos that date back several generations and are original not copies. We don’t want to lose these treasured memories and perhaps the only photos still in existence of some of our family members from long ago.

My Grandparents on my Mothers side told me a story (a long time ago) about how precious pictures are because there was a fire in the family homestead and they lost all the pictures and along with that, names of family members and a piece of history. That was pretty powerful to me. That is why it is important to save pictures in various places and get as many copies as you can. My camera was stolen and the impact of losing precious wedding day photos that I hadn’t backed up yet made me realize how important this is!

Photo storage is important to me because I want to keep the memories of the places, people, events and happenings that has helped make our family what it is today.

Because everything is digital nowadays. There are no negatives to make prints from again.

To keep all of the family memories, many pictures have disappeared over the years for one reason or another.

Well for security reasons and also because sometimes, computers die and you lose stuff on the hard drive. That happened to me and it was pretty sad.

Safe photo storage is important to me because I’ve had 2 lap tops crash now and without backing up my photos on the second one I would’ve lost so many photos. The first time it happened I wasn’t as lucky…

Digital photography is great, but the thought of losing all of my photos is horrible. Having them safe and sound would give me so much peace of mind. I lost my husband two and a half years ago, the photos I have of him are priceless and I worry about losing one…let alone all of them. I would be devastated.

I lost most of my photos when my computer crashed so i have been looking for an alternative other than hundreds of albums. This is great!!

It would be devastating to lose my digital photos. At some point I need to scan all of my older photos and store them digitally as well.

I’ve never really given it much thought…but if anything happened to my PC, all of my photos would be gone! *aaaaah!!*
Photo storage is important to me because…what on earth would I do if all the sweet pictures of my wedding and children and special moments were to disappear? How devastating would that be?!

I’m so bad with getting photos printed, this is something that would definitely make me feel like my photos were “safe” until I actually print them.

It is important to keep copies of photos not only online but a hard copy somewhere like a safe deposit box. Just in case.
