When you have more than one child, it’s easy to see how different each child develops.
One child may walk early, the other maybe not for months following. One may be an early talker, the other, still speaking gibberish at almost 2-years-old.
While those milestones are met at a different pace, they’re still met, and it’s fun seeing it all unfold along each child’s developmental path.
Kara, for instance, has recently started using a spoon to eat her food—finally! She had zero patience for using a spoon before, and preferred to use her fingers to eat her food. I’m so happy to see that she’s finally meeting this milestone. Of course, it’s a complete mess to clean up, but, she’s still learning!
I know that other important milestones (like potty training) are on the horizon, because she’s growing and changing so much every single day.
Until those blissful days of having two fully potty trained children, I’m still on diaper-duty with little Kara. Diaper-duty has been a little easier lately, since I’ve been using Huggies Slip-On Diapers.
Kara is ALL-TERRAIN, and frankly, a bit of a wild child, so it’s been nice having the ability to do some of those crazy diaper changes while she’s standing. I wouldn’t want to slow her down or anything!
