Treasuring Family Play Time *
I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience as a Shout Brand Ambassador over the past few months! It’s been fun having the opportunity to discuss the importance of creative play, and wow, we have so many beautiful memories of playing outdoors through the summer and fall!
Now that the weather has become colder here in Ohio, our family has adjusted to spending more time indoors, but that doesn’t mean our family play time is compromised! Evan’s current favorite activities include pushing his cars and trucks across the floor (while making appropriate motor noises, of course), playing hide-and-seek (he does most of the hiding), and of course, reading books.

I can’t tell you how thankful I am that our little boy has such an amazing love of books at this young age. His thirst for knowledge is incredible, and his father and I are so proud of him.
We plan to introduce him to more arts and crafts this winter, to help keep him interested and challenged. I know that it may become messy, but I hope to find some safe, washable finger paints to experiment with (on the kitchen laminate, of course!) in the coming months. I’m sure he will be covered in paint from head to toe, but the inevitable enjoyment will be well worth it!
These moments that we share with our children playing are so precious and fleeting. I hope you are enjoying plenty of fun, silly, creative play with your kiddos. Have a blast, and let Shout take care of the mess!
