Under The Nile Monkey from EcoMom
We’ve been dealing with a rash of unknown cause on Evan’s little face, arms, and legs over the past few weeks. I took him to the doctor, and while they were not particularly concerned, I was on a mission to find the cause of his outbreak and eliminate it. We noticed that his rash was always worse after he woke up in the morning, or from a nap. I began looking at tags on his crib bedding, and realized that his sheets and blankets were comprised of mostly polyester. Since that time, I’ve been working to replace all of his bedding, clothing, and even his stuffed animals with alternatives that are 100% cotton, which is why I as so pleased to receive this sweet Under The Nile Monkey made with 100% organic Egyptian cotton, from Eco-friendly Baby Products – EcoMom!
What I love about the Under The Nile Monkey, is that it is just the right size for Evan’s little hands. He’s able to get a good grip on all of its limbs, which is perfect for his purposes, which mostly consist of swinging the monkey around like a little wild man. I’m also impressed with how soft this toy is, and that can undoubtedly be attributed to the fact that it is made of 100% organic Egyptian cotton. I feel so much better about this product touching his skin, and going in his mouth. I am going to make my best effort to buy only stuffed animals made from natural materials from this point on.
I don’t think I need to point it out necessarily, but wow, isn’t this little guy cute? It almost reminds me of an old-fashioned, handmade doll. There isn’t anything cuter than seeing Evan holding and hugging this adorable toy!
