I was awed when I stumbled across this breathtaking Oz The Great and Powerful Jewelry Collection by Vilaiwan this evening. Completely awed. Granted, you aren’t going to find me in couture (at least, I don’t think you will) but simply as art, these pieces are something else.

Inspired by the stunning imagery and rich characters in the new film, Disney’s Oz The Great and Powerful, Los Angeles fine jewelry designer Joe Vilaiwan has created an absolutely striking collection of couture necklaces, cuffs and earrings.

Each piece was meticulously handcrafted with the finest precious and semi-precious stones and custom-made crystals. Up to 600 individually knotted strands combine into the statement necklaces.
