Dear Crissy

Wordless Wednesday linky: Pregnant

Dear Crissy Pregnant

Has it really been almost two years since this photo was taken? I stumbled onto a few of my pregnancy photos tonight, and I had an emotional reaction when looking at this one. I can remember this moment, distinctly. I was finally clear of the morning (all day) sickness, I was rocking a proper baby bump, but not terribly uncomfortable yet, and was generally just filled with all of the anticipation, hopes, and dreams that accompany pregnancy. Let’s all have a collective sigh, now, OK?

How did my tiny newborn baby turn into a little kid so quickly? A KID!

What a beautiful photo! You look radiant. If you ever figure out how to stop these kids from growing, let me know. I’ve got a teen getting ready to learn how to drive and I’m so not ready for this. They grow up way too fast. :(

Kristi, wow, driving! I know that must seem crazy to have one ready to start driving, but I also know that it will be here before I know it too. Make it stop!

So precious. I didn’t take enough pictures of myself when pregnant. I think I have about 7 of me pregnant at different stages. :(

You know, believe it or not, I didn’t take many either. I hope that if I ever get pregnant again someday, I can be better about it.

I can remember those preggo days like it’s yesterday (as cliche as it might be, I can). With my boy, after the first trimester, I was full of energy and still can’t believe how much I got done. With my girl, I was never as sick, but I didn’t get the extreme energy either. But, whatever I felt during both pregnancies, I count my stars that I have two beautiful bundles to love. :>

Thanks for the trip down memory lane! You looked wonderful pregnant, hope you enjoyed your visit on that special street too! :>
