Wordless Wednesday: Pretty Random *

Nikon D800

I got a new camera — a Nikon D800 to be precise.

Why am I taking random photos of flower petals smashed onto the sidewalk? Well, that’s what you do when you get a new camera. You run outside and take images of the random stuff around you, because even random things look kind of pretty coming from a new camera, right? :)

    I’m totally laughing- that IS what happens with a new camera or really any new piece of gear. Even when I get a new lens filter, lens or anything else- I need to try it out & so I immediately snap a shot of the plant in my office. Congrats on the camera- excellent choice.

    I love that shot! The colors are so bold against the darker background! I love Wordless Wednesdays because it allows me an excuse to play with the camera and see what new shots I can create. And I love visiting to see what amazing things you can come up with too!

    I agree. Even when your camera is 7 months old you can still be apt to take random photos, especially when your daughter uses it more than you! ;)
