Wordless Wednesday: After the storm

after the storm

We spent about an hour in the basement on Monday night, but thankfully, nothing materialized in my neck of of the woods.

Great shot! I just love Hipstamatic. Glad you all were safe. Those storms can certainly be scary. We’ve had high winds here in Missouri for the past 2 days and lost 2 huge patches of shingles on our roof. These storms are no joke! Hope you’re doing well. :)

It has been a scary time. We had tornadoes last year in our area, and it was the first time in forever. We have already had small ones this year. I am a disaster volunteer with the Red Cross and it looks like we will be spending more time than ever responding to storms. More and more people are seriously considering their sheltering options and putting in storm shelters of one sort or another. I am glad they passed you by and hope they continue to do so. Stay safe.

I’m very happy that all is well with you, and your family. We also have a basement, and with the way things has been with the weather everywhere we already have an understanding with our neighbors on both sides of us that they are welcome here for they have no basement. Things like this brings people closer together too don’t you think? Well, have good day and I’m glad the storm to a different road than yours.
