As you know, we’re big fans of DIY face masks around here, and this calming, healing and moisturizing honey and wheatgrass face mask is loaded with goodies like natural antioxidants, minerals and vitamins that will help detox and replenish your skin. Plus, with only 2-ingredient this homemade facial mask is SUPER EASY to put together!
You can use this DIY wheatgrass and honey face mask once or twice a week for 10 to 20 minutes depending your skin’s unique sensitivities. It is always a great idea to test new products or combinations on the back of your hand before leaving on your face for a long time.
I apply this easy DIY wheatgrass and honey face mask with the same spoon or spatula that I mix it with to avoid messy hands or even wasting any in the process. As the raw honey warms to your body temperature it will become super smooth and glassy on your face. Be careful to pay attention to your jaw line and chin after the mask has been on for a few minutes as the heat will also cause it to start to run a bit and possibly drip off your chin. A quick wipe with a towel and you’ll be all set.
When you’re ready to remove this DIY honey and wheatgrass mask, simply wash away with warm water or wipe with a warm wet cloth. Try not to use really hot water or use the towel too aggressively so that your skin will still have a tiny bit of a buffer left over from the honey.
If you feel the need to moisturize after removing the mask you can use the tiniest bit of coconut oil all over to help balance your skin.

This gentile and comfortable mask almost feels warming on your skin (note, this should not feel hot in any way, just warm from your body heat). Leave on for up to 20 minutes and remove.
