Easy Strawberry Banana Smoothie

This post is sponsored by California Strawberry Commission.

This is what I made for myself and the kids as a post-breakfast snack today. It’s a super easy and healthy strawberry banana smoothie!

This will be the smoothie for you if you like the taste of Greek yogurt. My kids love Greek yogurt, and the splash of vanilla and honey along with those sweet and delicious strawberries make this smoothie sweet enough for my kids!

I love knowing that they are drinking such a healthy smoothie that isn’t loaded with sugar.

The addition of the ice also makes the kids feel like they are having a special ice-cream-ish treat. Smoothies just aren’t as good without the addition of ice in our house!

I’m sad to see summer start to fade, but it’s nice knowing that I can still pick up California Strawberries at the grocery store throughout the fall and winter.

My kids love strawberries so much that I actually had to cut them off because I almost didn’t have enough strawberries for my smoothie recipe!

As I said, this smoothie is great for those of you who love the flavor of vanilla Greek yogurt. If Greek yogurt isn’t your thing, that’s no problem, replace with regular vanilla yogurt or the yogurt of your choice!

  1. I tried it and loved it.

  2. i have got to try all of these smoothies.

  3. Hi there. I just love making smoothies. I use Kefir Milk in all my fruit smoothies. I never buy any Yogurt from the stores anymore ever since I started making my own Kefir Milk from grains, at home.
I put my raw Oats through my food processor till it was like flour. In my liquidizer I put 1/2 bananas, 1/2 Table Spoons of Oats, honey to taste and top up with Kefir Milk. Other fruits can be added to this basic smoothy, paw-paw, mango or peaches etc. Fantastic!

  5. Was very delicious my whole family lived it. 1 question tho what are the nutrition values?

  6. I’ve never bought Greek yogurt, but every regular yogurt I’ve looked at is loaded with sugar. Could you please tell me how much sugar in the Greek Yogurt you use, and maybe recommend a regular yogurt that doesn’t have as much sugar as ice cream does.

  7. Crissy, thank you for leaving a very sweet comment on one of my pins! :) Your photography is gorgeous: you like to use window light from one side, just like I do. :) This banana smoothie looks so appetizing, and I happen just to LOVE vanilla Greek yogurt: I use it/eat it all the time! :)
