Dear Crissy

My Handmade Pottery

Turning 40 and weathering a global pandemic in 2020 really did a number on me. I can laugh about it now, but needless to say, I was feeling the urge to embark on a new adventure to feed my soul.

I’ve been wanting to create my own handmade pottery for years, so I decided to mask-up and take a private lesson in my hometown.

Pretty soon, I was hooked. My sweet husband even built an amazing space in the upstairs of our garage for me to hone my pottery skills.

I’m a total newbie, but I’m loving my new hobby. The only problem? … Our house is becoming pretty cluttered with my pottery creations!

I am planning to start offering a few of my pieces on Etsy, and I wanted to invite you to jump on my Etsy re-stock notification list if you’d like to know when I’ve added products.

I’m working in small batches, so if you want to know when the Etsy shop has pottery available to buy, you’ll definitely want to get on that list. It’s a separate list than the one for this blog.

Following Crissy Page Pottery on Facebook and Instagram are also great ways to get a peek at my home studio and to see what I’m creating!

Here are a few more pics of the studio and my pottery. I hope you’ll all follow along with me on this journey! :)

  1. That’s wonderful news. I love your artwork and wish you an abundant, creative, and happy journey

  2. Love your mugs.  The pictures are beautiful.  I’ve been buying my coffee mugs for me and my husband over the last couple of years from pottery studios on Etsy.  I know they can be more pricey than the cheap store bought ones but there’s no comparison in the beauty and weight of the mug.  I have a collection of different colors and design.  I like a variety not all matching mugs.  I’m looking forward to seeing your creations for sale.  Pottery is a work of art just like a painting.  I believe every artist no matter what the form is leaves a piece of themselves or their essence in their work because it truly is a creation.  Can’t wait to buy one.
