Dear Crissy

My little boy took his first steps

I am a little late, but just wanted to get this in writing (someplace besides the baby book) that Evan took his first steps last night, on August 11th, 2010. That’s right, my  little boy is walking, and I could not be more proud!

He actually took more than just a couple steps, and walked half way across our living room several times. It seems like when he decides to do something, he does it well! We tried to get a picture, but by the time I got around to it, he was too tired to perform. Soon, though!

  1. Hi, I'm following you on Google Friend Connect. Wow, congrats! You must be so proud. I remember when my little one took his first steps just last year. It was awesome!

  2. Congratulations to your adorable boy! My Little Miss is still cruising but already attempting to at least stand up on her own. It's funny and amazing how persistent she is, that though she falls down every time she stands right back up. :) Exciting times ahead of you!

  3. That is the best feeling watching your baby do something like that!!! __Have a pretty day! __Kristin

  4. Go Evan! :)

  5. Congrats! I know how your feeling right about now! It's amazing to see them walking everywhere!

  6. That is so exciting. It's amazing how they all walk at different times. When you have the next one, he or she may walk earlier or much later. My oldest was a late walker but my baby now is 10 months and took her first steps at 8 months! She amazes everyone when they see her toddling around shaking her little booty. :)

    Way to go, Evan!

  7. Congrats! We're still cruising furniture over here, but I have a feeling it won't be for long because she is in a hurry to get into as much as she possible can. Haha. Yay for Evan!

  8. That's so huge! Congratulations!!! My baby girl just started "commando" crawling this week. I can't imagine walking. They grow too fast!!!!!!!!!!
