I’d like to thank Philips for sponsoring this post.
To be honest, I didn’t put much thought into household air quality in our home until the day I was driving home following my son’s allergy test.
As it turns out, Evan is allergic to a variety of indoor and outdoor allergens. This news meant that I was on a mission to find ways to reduce allergens in our home.
We’ve been using an air purifier for a while, but we recently made a major upgrade. We’re now using this amazing unit!
It’s the Philips Air Purifier Series 5000i, and I am totally in love. 😍
Philips Air Purifier Series 5000i Review
I was stunned to recently learn that indoor air quality can be 2-5x worse than outdoor air.
Wait a minute, what?
With this knowledge, combined with the fact that allergies affect 30-35% of the global population makes the use of an air purifier just seem like a no-brainer.
I’m a huge fan of Philips Air Purifier Series 5000i because it captures odors, gases and 99.97% of allergens that pass through its six filters in rooms up to 454 square feet.
It even has extra-sensitive Allergen mode and Virus mode that automatically change fan speed as air quality changes to bring air quality back to a stable level.
We’re currently using the unit in our great room. This is the area of the home where we spend the most time together as a family. However, I’m planning to purchase a second unit to put upstairs where my son sleeps.
I also love how this product looks. It has a modern design that works well with any home’s decor. We love keeping an eye on that color ring as it changes color to indicate air quality in our home.
You can even control the unit remotely with the Air Matters app.
The app is available for download on Google Play and the Apple Store.
I really have so much peace of mind now that we’ve been using the Philips Air Purifier Series 5000i.
Having a product in our home that helps manage allergens is simply priceless.
