Resolving To Be More Creative in 2018

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of On-Cor. The opinions and text are all mine.

I’m always a little leery about setting grandiose resolutions for the new year, but, I have made one commitment that I think is going to really pay off for our whole family.

I’m resolving to spend at least a few hours every week making art, and I’m involving the kids in my quest. This is particularly fun for my little girl who loves to paint with me!

Like most busy moms, I don’t have a lot of spare time for this. That doesn’t mean that I can’t make time, and one way I do that is by having On-Cor entreés for dinner!

On-Cor allows me to put a delicious family dinner on the table with zero prep and very little cleanup.

On-Cor is just a freezer away for an always easy, always satisfying and always ready solution for “one of those nights.” It doesn’t even have to be a chaotic night. On-Cor is perfect for any night when you want to carve-out extra minutes to relax, hang out with your family, or make art!

I’ve always loved to paint with watercolor, but, I’ve felt like I was too busy over the past few years to paint.

Life is so much sweeter when you make time for the hobbies and activities that you truly enjoy. I always feel more relaxed after painting, and I love sharing this fun hobby with my daughter.

We work on our paintings while our On-Cor entreé is in the oven. We let the painting dry while we eat, and since there’s very minimal clean-up after dinner, we can put the finishing touches on our masterpieces while unwinding before bedtime.

A number of entrées now have 20 percent more meat, including Salisbury Steak, Sliced Turkey and Char-Broiled Patties. I love making the Gravy & 6 Salisbury Steaks and serving it with some quick and easy vegetables steamed in the microwave. You really can’t beat such a simple and flavorful meal.

You can even get creative with your On-Cor entreés! One of my favorite ways to do this is to pick up a rotisserie chicken and add the shredded meat to our On-Cor Macaroni & Cheese. The possibilities are really endless!

What are your resolutions for 2018? If you haven’t set any yet, I highly recommend incorporating one of your favorite creative hobbies into your daily routine! :)

For your next family meal, head to the freezer aisle of Kroger or check out the store locator at www.on-cor.com to pick up one of On-Cor’s entrées.

  4. this is a great thing to strive for. I love painting and drawing and need to do more of it.

  5. I like OnCor for the same reason. I lke how it is generally meat and gravy and you can just cook a potato or rice. We like the turkey meal a lot when there is no time. I like making hot turkey sandwiches out of it.While it’s cooking we can catch a show like Vikings or something we like watching together.

  7. While our OnCor dinner cooks. My older children and I make the side dishes together. Including the salad and dessert. The younger ones set up the table with plastic spoons/forks, paper plates, paper napkins and paper cups. When dinner complete. Everyone comes together and eat.

  8. I always have honey-do chores that I need to tackle, so I can take care of a few of those. If spring makes an early appearance I could also head outside and start the spring lawn maintenance.
