Satisfying Spring Cleaning Moments

I’d like to thank Clorox for sponsoring this post.

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not the neatest person in the world. In fact, I tend to allow my home and vehicles to accumulate enough clutter that pretty soon, it starts to give me a little bit of anxiety.

By a little anxiety, what I really mean is it eventually makes me CRAZY!

When spring rolls around, I have no trouble finding areas of my home to tackle. In fact, I was lying awake in bed last night thinking about cleaning the air vents in our home. This is a spring cleaning ritual I perform every year to help cut down on allergens.

Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes – Ultra Strength, are perfect for this task.
Three times stronger than a wet paper towel to outlast tough messes, the new design includes tough blue fibers and grime-catching ridges which work perfectly to scrub away the surprising amount of dirt and grime on my air vents. These wipes are also dual-sided meaning you can do a considerable amount of scrubbing with each one.

It gives me such a satisfied feeling when I see all of the grunge that I’ve been able to clean off the air vents. This is especially important to me since my son is allergic to almost everything!

When it comes to spring cleaning, I’m all about organization. Your eyes would probably pop out if I showed you the before photo of this cabinet before I organized it. Y’all, I’m the queen of clutter.

This is my food storage container cabinet, and since I pack so many lunches throughout the school year as well as prep meals for our family, it needs to be organized. I felt like I deserved some kind of trophy when I completed this cleaning task!

Before putting everything back in its place, I did a once-over with Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes – Flex Pack Singles.

I love how easy it is to grab a wipe for quick cleaning jobs, and that Crisp Lemon scent is SO HEAVENLY!

Of course, let’s not forget to discuss the ultimate in home-cleaning. No one loves cleaning their toilets, but it’s oddly satisfying to get a sparkling clean one that smells fresh and clean.

Clorox® ToiletWand® is basically my BFF.

The preloaded toilet brush cleans, sanitizes, and disinfects your toilet with a refillable, disposable head that makes the toilet bowl cleaning process SO much easier.

Clorox even conducted a spring cleaning survey this year and some of the results are truly fascinating!

According to the survey, the most oddly satisfying cleaning activity is organizing a closet (28%), closely followed by organizing a pantry (25%). The survey even found that accomplishing these spring cleaning tasks can make people feel relaxed and accomplished.

Of Americans who find cleaning activities oddly satisfying, countertops (34%), the top of the stove (34%), inside the microwave (30%), inside the refrigerator (27%) are the most oddly satisfying areas to clean in the house.

I have to admit, I’m definitely represented in the survey. The last thing I do after cleaning my kitchen is to take one final pass over the countertops and stove with a Clorox Disinfecting Wipe.

Of course, sometimes on busy school nights, wiping the countertops and stove with a Clorox Disinfecting Wipe is the only cleaning I’m able to muster before going to bed. Just keeping it real, friends!

I also wanted to share my free printable spring cleaning checklist.

The one thing that is more oddly satisfying than tackling a cleaning task in your home is being to check those tasks off a handy printed list!
