There’s something to be said for creating beautiful meals. Even if it’s just a midday snack or lunch like this gorgeous fruit and turmeric yogurt bowl. I know for me, I always feel more satisfied with my meal when I take a few moments to put it together in a way that feeds my eyes before it feeds my belly.
This pretty little number is not only delicious, it’s also really good for you. I’ve personally been trying to eat foods that will combat a couple minor health issues that I’ve been having which include joint pain and indigestion. This lovely fruit-filled turmeric yogurt bowl recipe is a nourishing and healing option to address those health concerns.
Of course, you’re getting a nice serving of yogurt which is wonderful for your overall health and wellness.
Yogurt is loaded with probiotics which are great for maintaining your gut health which contributes to a happy digestive system.
I’ve also been on a real mission to include more turmeric in my diet. Turmeric is known to treat a long list of ailments including inflammation, cold and flu, and it’s even believed to fight some cancers.

Is this pretty little turmeric yogurt going to magically cure your aches and pains or stop the flu in its tracks? No, probably not.
As you may be able to tell from some of the more decadent dessert recipes on my blog that I’m definitely not perfect when it comes to personal wellness and nutrition. However, I do make the effort where I can! While including more turmeric in your diet isn’t a quick fix, it’s a great step towards a healthier and more whole diet and that’s a good thing in my book.

- 1 cup of your favorite vanilla yogurt
- ½ of a fresh peach
- a few fresh or frozen cherries (pit removed)
- ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- Stir the ground turmeric into the yogurt until smooth and a soft even yellow.
- Wash and slice the peach and cherries.
- Top the yogurt with peaches and cherries (and enjoy your extras on the side)
- Sprinkle the chia seeds on top.
Delicious right away, or will sit chilled well for up to 1 day in the refrigerator.
