White Chocolate Waffles
While our family typically enjoys waffles for breakfast, they also make a great easy dessert! These white chocolate waffles are sweet enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, and the best part is, they take very little time to make.
That’s really the beauty of Bisquick. It’s such a versatile product and works perfectly as a base for so many wonderful, easy recipes.
I particularly love using Bisquick for breakfast because I can make anything from biscuits to pancakes to waffles by simply adding a few more of my favorite ingredients.
These white chocolate waffles would make a fine sweet breakfast as well!
It’s funny, because the times when I decide to make my batter for waffles or pancakes from scratch, I always end up thinking to myself that the Bisquick is not only easier, it just tastes better!
If you’re not a fan of white chocolate you could certainly add milk or dark chocolate bits to this recipe. You could also omit the chocolate bits completely as the waffles are still good on their own.
These white chocolate waffles make a really unique dessert, and a little will go a long way for your kids. Just wait until you see the smiles on their faces when you tell them they’ll be having waffles for dessert!
I hope you enjoy!
White chocolate waffles
2 cups Bisquick
1 1/3 cups butter milk
2 tablespoons quality dark chocolate cocoa powder
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
1⁄2 to 3⁄4 cup white chocolate bits
1. Heat your waffle iron to medium and grease with coconut oil or butter.
2. Beat the egg in a larger measuring cup with a pour spout. Mix in the rest of the ingredients aside from the white chocolate. Whisk only until the ingredients are combined. Pour the waffles and quickly add a sprinkle of the white chocolate bits to the top before closing the lid. Let cook until the indicator goes off.
