If you follow my instructions and use very ripe bananas, you really just can’t go wrong with this recipe.
My chocolate chip banana bread is so dense and moist on the inside, and the top bakes-up perfectly golden on top. Be sure to save a few of your mini chocolate chips to sprinkle all over the top of the bread, as this will give it a very pretty finish on top.
I’ve also found that sprinkling some granulated sugar on top with the chocolate chips gives the top a nice, extra-sweet flavor and texture.
Oh, and before I forget, if you love quick and scrumptious bread recipes don’t miss my blueberry zucchini bread and this amazing cream cheese filled pumpkin bread.

This is the BEST RECIPE!
Iโve tried several for other itemsโฆcookies and pancakes.
Tried pancakes and cookies this morningโฆ The pancakes take really long to cook and then they start browning a little bit on both sides so they donโt come out the best but the cookies come out perfect just like a muffin topโฆ And I have done muffins with this recipe and it comes out the same as the bread just cooking about 20 or 25 minutes and itโs perfectย
I love this recipe! Absolutely delicious. All my family loved it. Thank you
I make this all the time. It really is a great recipe!!!!! Easy & very moist.
I do sprinkle raw sugar to finish for a sweet crunchy top. And if I have them, Iโll throw in some butterscotch chips as well.ย
Thanks for sharing!!! Happy Baking yโall!ย
I made this bread yesterday. My husband & I loved it.
Should the butter be Salted or not?
I just made this and itโs so good! Thank you for the recipe! I added an extra banana just bc mine were smaller/organic and Didnโt feel they were medium sized. I also baked it into 2 – medium loaf tins and baked it for 55 mins. Which turned out PERFECT. I may have gone a little over board with the sugar. I lined the greased tin/pan with a little sugar after I sprayed it and gave it a sweet crust all around. I will be making this again! ย I may bake it in mini loaf pans and gift to people during the holidays or something. โบ๏ธ
