Easy Crock Pot Pork Chops Recipe
Iโd like to thank The Ohio Pork Council for sponsoring my smothered crock pot pork chops recipe.
While pressure cookers are all the rage right now, I have a confession to make.
I still favor my slow cooker. There’s just something special about a homestyle dinner made in a crock pot.
These crock pot pork chops are a perfect example!

Growing up, my mom always made pork chops because it’s my dad’s favorite dinner. I must have inherited his love for this flavorful cut of pork because I love cooking pork chops for my family.
We have pork chops at least once a week. There are just so many ways you can prepare them!
My husband actually suggested we have this recipe on Thanksgiving.
After you take one bite of these tender slow cooker pork chops you’re going to know what I mean.

How to Make Boneless Pork Chops in Crock Pot
My easy crock pot pork chops are truly a set-it-and-forget-it slow cooker meal.
Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make these tasty smothered pork chops.
- 4-6 pork chops, bone-in or boneless (I used New York pork chops)
- 1 (10 ยฝ oz. can) cream of chicken soup
- 1 (10 ยฝ oz. can) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- ยฝ teaspoon black pepper
As I noted above, I like using boneless pork chops when I make this dish.
The great news is, however, you can use any pork chops your family prefers. Bone-in pork chops are fine as well!

The soups really add a lot of flavor to this dish as it cooks.
One of my favorite things about this crock pot pork chops recipe is the delicious gravy it creates.
I always love to make mashed potatoes and veggies to go with this dish. Biscuits are also wonderful dipped in this scrumptious gravy.
This is the perfect meal to start before heading off to church on Sunday morning!

Can you double this and cook the same amount of time?
I used thick cut Pork chops and followed recipe as printed. Outstanding results, Better than fork tender, very tasty. Would recommend this recipe very highly!
Really glad you loved the recipe, Perry! Thanks for commenting! :)
Crissy thanks for this great recipe. This is really great home cooking. I put 5 quartered potatoes in the bottom of the crock pot. Then added the pork chops and sauce with a good shake of garlic powder. My wife said these were some of the best pork chops I had ever made. We had leftover gravy so I dumped a couple of drained cans of vegetables in and soup. Thanks again from eastern NC.
Sounds delicious, my daughter and I are doing WW so will use the healthy request soups and will be very low points/serving. Thank you for a home comfort meal. We love pork chops and the loin is very WW friendly.ย
Also my favorite cut of pork as usually on sale and so many ways to cook and low fat. Now I have a new way to cook it Thanks again.ย
Can you use frozen pork chops?
I haven’t tried this, but, I’m guessing it would be okay. You may have an additional cook time. If you try it, let us know how it turned out!
